Bike

 

Decided to customize the bike this last year.  Upgraded the exhaust and intake.  Had Eddie Newell do the body work and paint, love the marbleized House of Kolor Tangerine and streaked black accents.  Cycle Image chromed everything that could be chromed and did an outstanding job.  The tins have been treated to prevent any debris coming up from the road leading to cracks in the paint.  Love the way this stuff works.

12/12/09  Well Round 2 of the customization is now underway.  Putting a set of Corbin Bags on in place of the stock bags.  I am going to have my body man remove the chrome stripes on the Corbins and fill those areas in to have a flush look to the exterior.  The paint will match the current House of Kolor scheme and the extra storage will allow for longer road trips.  I am anxious to get the project under way.

3/1/10  Amazing how you think you know how you want the product to look beforehand.  Well the two color scheme made the bike look like a trike.  Not the look I was going for.  With the marbleized House of Kolor Tangerine the bags had a more streamlined and narrow look.  Instead of removing the chrome stripes they were kept to give a small break to the bags and they looked much better than I thought they would.  All in all I am very pleased.   Now its time for a road trip.
